10/27/2024 On Sat. Oct. 26, 2024, Professor Louie & The Crowmatix performed in Concert at Caffe Lena in Saratoga Springs, NY. In 1960, burgeoning actress and defiant dreamer Lena Spencer opened a small, grassroots coffeehouse. Caffe Lena is the oldest continually running coffee house in the US gaining notoriety for booking emerging musicians, poets, and actors, renowned for its role in fostering the American Folk music scene by hosting legendary artists like Bob Dylan, Pete Seeger, Dave Van Ronk and so many more.... What a Special Night for The Crowmatix ~ A packed house and very enthusiastic crowd - we all had a great time. Professor Louie, Miss Marie, Frank Campbell, Todd Mihan and Dan Hickey performed original tunes, blues, and fan favorites and the Concert was also Streaming live for those who couldn't come to the show. Special thanks to Sarah Craig, Hannah, Joe On House Sound and Joel on Streaming. PL&C have performed at Caffe Lena through the years and are honored to always be asked back to perform in Concert.
