7/11/2023 On Sat. July 8, 2023 Professor Louie & The Crowmatix performed in Concert at the Common Ground Roots Music and Arts Festival at McDaniel College, Westminster, MD This was an All Day Festival of music and arts with special performances by PL&C, Tom Chapin, Guy Davis and more... The Crowmatix ended the Festival - a great show and an enthusiastic audience. Professor Louie also taught for one week – three classes…Blues Piano, Music of The Band and Horn Section Workshop. In 1994, Founder Walt Michael came back to his home state of Maryland with a vision to create interracial harmony through the traditional arts. To provide the opportunity to teach and to study various musical instruments and art forms representing different ethnic and cultural traditions. Common Ground on the Hill was founded on the premise that there is a common human thread unifying all people expressed in our various artistic traditions. The mission is to make this thread a path towards human understanding, tolerance, fulfillment, and enjoyment. Special thanks to Walt Michael, Maria Wong, Missy, Cheyenne and all the staff who worked so hard to make this such a success! PL&C
