1/31/2011 Professor Louie & The Crowmatix were honored to be the special guest performers for five sold out shows at 2010 Melodies Of Christmas, along with the Empire State Youth Orchestra and Chorale presented by CBS6 TV, Albany NY. Professor Louie & The Crowmatix opened the show with their 2010 Grammy nominated song Melody of Peace and performed three more songs later in the program. For 30 years, this wonderful holiday show has been held at the beautiful Proctors Theater in Schenectady, NY. This concert series helps raise money for The Albany Medical Center for childhood cancer & blood disorders. To date, with sponsorship from Freihoffers and Price Choppers, Melodies of Christmas has raised over 6.2 million dollars. Albany Medical Center has now renamed The Childrens Center The Melodies Center to commemorate the popular holiday concert series that helps so many patients each year. Special thanks to Lisa Jackson, Liz Bishop, Greg Floyd & Staff of CBS6 TV, Helen Cha-Pyo & The Empire State Orchestra, Ned B. Fleischer & Empire State Chorale, Paul Kazee and staff of Proctors Theatre and all the great folks at Albany Medical Center who make this a wonderous & memorable time every year!
