1/6/12 On Sunday, January 1, 2012, Professor Louie was inducted as a Master Blues Artist into The Blues Hall Of Fame at Logstock in Woodstock, NY. It was a great event and the ceremony took place at a wonderful party & concert. Michael Packer, Ambassador to New York presented the Awards which were sent from Memphis and the list included Professor Louie, Commander Cody, Levon Helm, Alexis P. Suter and the members of her band as well as Garth Hudson and Barbara O'Brien. Also, a special award to Joni Elenson & Rob Ramirez of Logstock for their support in keeping the blues alive. Congratulations to all these great musicians and supporters who help to keep this good music flowing. It was a fabulous time with a lot of good jammin' all day by many wonderful musicians from the Woodstock area. The Michael Packer Band performed and then Professor Louie with Commander Cody, Miss Marie & Frank Campbell took to the stage to rock the house. Many fans & friends came out to be at the Induction Ceremony and a lot of good partying followed. Special Thanks to Michael Packer for getting it all together for this memorable award event.
