Professor Louie & The Crowmatix are deeply saddened to hear about the passing of their friend and wonderful musician - Blues Legend Ernie Williams.
Ernie was the true bluesman in the area and they always enjoyed recording and performing with him. He did a lot for the musical community and was always on hand to help out.
Ernie approached each gig with enthusiasm, whether he was standing on the spotlight at the Palace Theatre, opening a sold-out concert for B.B. King or playing late into the night at a neighborhood bar. He did more than his fair share of touring throughout the years, playing everywhere from the House of Blues in Boston to Buddy Guy’s Legends in Chicago.
Professor Louie & The Crowmatix performed in concert many times on shows with The Ernie Williams Band and always had a good time jamming together. PL&C also recorded some great tunes with Ernie including his famous version of Mustang Sally.
He will be missed by all. Our sympathy goes out to Cathy, his family and friends.
