2/24/14 Professor Louie & The Crowmatix performed at the Rubin Museum of Art on Friday, 2/7/14 with Al Jardine & Friends. This was a Benefit for The David Lynch Foundation - Transcendental Music. Beach Boys co-founding member Al Jardine performed with Dusty Wright, Professor Louie & The Crowmatix, Larry Dvoskin, former Beach Boys Blondie Chaplin, Paul Schafer, Royston Langdon from Spacehog, and The Bongos' frontman Richard Barone There was a special finale - a tribute to Pete Seeger. The David Lynch Foundation's label Transendental Music released a single "The World Belongs To You" by Professor Louie & The Crowmatix and PL&C started the show with this tune. The David Lynch Foundation raises money to teach Transcendental Meditation to school children in need, veterans and first responders suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder, and women and children who are survivors of domestic violence. A lot of great tunes...a fun night! Special thanks to all the musicians and friends at The Rubin Museum who made this show possible.
