Prof. Louie & The Crowmatix had a fabulous time performing with Dan Shaut & The Woodstock Horns on Wed. Aug. 29th at The Lake George Arts Project's Summer Concerts at Shepard Park, Lake George, NY The Rain didn't stop us...everyone came up under the Band Shell and circled the band for a two hour concert in the round....what fun! A night to remember.....PL&C Saxophonist Dan Shaut who led The Woodstock Horns commented on Facebook about this show... Had a blast playing with Professor Louie Hurwitz and The Crowmatix last night ... outdoor gig in Lake George. Started pouring 4 or 5 tunes in to our set so most of the audience joined us on stage, behind us, for an impromptu concert in the round. Such great energy. Played the full 2 hours that way.... I can honestly say, as a classically trained saxophonist, that was the first time the audience ever rushed the stage!
